Phantom Galaxies, a Web3 sci-fi mecha FPS MMORPG, officially launched its early access release on November 15th, 2023 on Steam and Epic Games.
To play the game via the Epic Games Store or any other Web3-capable version, visit the Phantom Galaxies website to obtain your access code, install the game, and then input it. However, Web3 integration is absent from the version that is accessible through Steam. All you have to do is sign up and get involved!
Private and Public Areas
The Phantom Galaxies developers are also adding new PvE and shared public areas to the game. As you progress, each new area you enter through a Warp Gate will ask you to select between Private and Public options. This gives you more opportunities to run into other players throughout the galaxy or, if you would rather, uninterrupted time to finish solo gameplay missions!
Players will have to note though, that if they go to any public space locations, they will be unable to continue any active missions or main storylines.
Battle Pass
During Early Access, the Ranger Activity Burnup Chart is a sort of battle pass. This monthly progression system awards Activity Points for player participation and keeps track of it. Acquiring new rewards on the Chart requires leveling up. Actually, there are going to be three distinct reward tracks accessible. All players can access the Standard Track, which offers Ores, Credits, and U-Cubes as rewards. Afterwards, Steam users have access to the Advanced Track. Although joining costs 60 Starlings, this offers more in-game rewards. When it comes to in-game currency, starlings will be comparable to ASTRAFER tokens for players of the web2 version of the game.
The Elite Track, which is web3-compatible is another new addition. It takes 100,000 Credits to get on this track. Players can convert ASTRAFER to Credits at the rate of one Credit for every $0.0001 worth of ASTRAFER, although paying with ASTRAFER tokens will be an option in the future. Along with extra in-game rewards, the Elite Track will come with ASTRAFER tokens. A new resource called U-Cubes is used to upgrade shields, weapons, and other equipment.

It is now possible for players to view both the status and owned NFTs in-game. To be used in-game, NFTs will need to be “bound,” which prevents them from being transferred or sold. However, users will be allowed to utilize their generative Pilots and Starfighters in-game, allowing them to flaunt their distinctive appearances to other players!
More About Phantom Galaxies
Phantom Galaxies is a free-to-play first-person shooter massively multiplayer online role-playing game that takes place in a future where people are exploring space and colonizing planets. Along the way, players battle pirates, complete storyline quests, and improve both their characters and starships. The majority of the non-player character interactions in Phantom Galaxies take place in walkable, three-dimensional space stations, along with starship combat and piloting.
As NFTs, players will possess their own Starfighters. In order to improve their fighters, they will also employ equipment and fusion NFTs. In addition, Phantom Galaxies has a PvP system, daily and weekly quests, and a bounty system. Plans for many more features are also in the works for the Phantom Galaxies team. Arena PvP, PvE raids, and even the possible permanent loss of Starfighter NFTs (in specific zones) are among them!
